April in canton of Valais has its own quiet rhythm. The ski season is over, summer guests haven’t arrived yet, and the village takes a breath. We walked slowly through forests and empty streets of Haut-Nendaz, with children, with time to notice small details — how people prepare their homes and cafés, how life gently shifts towards the warmer months.
